The work of Lieux-Dits blends documentary and fiction to create shows embedded in the political, philosophical and poetic issues of the present. We write fiction for a team of performers to create works that show how the intimacy of individuals can be affected by history and sometimes transform it.
Within the company we are convinced of the vital need for theatrical creation to understand the world we have inherited, the world we are immersed in and the world we live in. We see our shows as places that belong to us collectively, where we can ask questions, restore a living memory, approach our common past, bring the dead back to life, share our present, meet and be together.
Today, more than ever, we – creators, artists, cultural workers, artistic teams – need a wide range of support to enable us to create. Your donation entitles you to an income tax reduction of 66% of the amount, up to a limit of 20% of taxable income (art. 200-1 of the CGI).
For companies based in France:
Your donation entitles you to a corporate tax reduction of 60% of the amount, up to a limit of 0.5% of annual turnover (art. 238 bis of the CGI).
